The first word out of most people's mouth is "SUE THEIR ASS". Why do this? Why not "WORK IT OUT"? I've dealt with many many lawyers in my job. Trust me, suing someone is a lose-lose proposition for everyone. Most of the time, it is much easier to just work it out. Some punk ass ripped off my $4,500 stereo system when my car was sitting at a Nissan dealer overnight for service and that dealership paid up with no problems. All I had to do was to be PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, and REASONABLE and I got everything I asked for. Try that before getting crazy and all pissed off. Another thing... the same f-cking dealership screwed up my timing belt replacement (tensioner bolt snapped off thowing everything out of whack). I had the problem fixed by JWT, then gave the bill to them. Again, by being PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS and REASONABLE, I got all my money back. As for your free lawyer, that just means they won't work as hard as a paid lawyer. Even if he does a great job, should you have to pursue the matter in court, it'll take a good year or more before your case gets to trial. People are WAY TOO sue happy in this country. WTF is wrong with us?!
